These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website precisionresearchpeptides.co.uk and the purchase of any products supplied by Precision Research UK Ltd (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the website or placing an order, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
- “Company” means Precision Research UK Ltd, registered at Old Gorsey Lane, Wallasey, Wirral, CH44 4AH, England.
- “Products” means all peptides, reference compounds and related research materials supplied by the Company.
- “Customer” means any individual (21 years of age or older) or entity purchasing Products from the Company.
- “Research Purpose” means use strictly within an in-vitro, controlled laboratory environment for scientific investigation. It expressly excludes any human or veterinary application.
- “Website” means precisionresearchpeptides.co.uk and any subdomains operated by the Company.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this Website, placing an order, or purchasing Products, the Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full. You must be at least 21 years of age to place an order with us. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not place an order.
3. Research Use Restriction
All Products are sold strictly for laboratory research purposes only. They are: not medicines, not medical devices, not food supplements, not cosmetics, not approved for human or veterinary consumption, not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and not evaluated by the MHRA, FDA, EMA or any equivalent regulator.
4. Absolute Prohibition on Personal Use
The Customer agrees that they will not ingest, inject, inhale, apply topically, administer to any person or animal, or otherwise use any Product outside of a controlled laboratory environment. Any attempt to do so is a serious breach of these Terms and is undertaken entirely at the Customer’s own risk and liability.
5. Customer Warranties
By placing an order, the Customer warrants that they: are at least 21 years of age; are purchasing solely for legitimate laboratory research; will store, handle and dispose of Products lawfully; will not resell for human or veterinary use; and have read our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Payment & Billing Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
6. No Advice or Representations
The information provided on the Website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, scientific, legal or any other professional advice. We make no warranties as to the suitability of any Product for any specific research protocol. The Customer is responsible for verifying suitability.
7. Orders, Pricing & Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Prices are in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable. Payment is taken in full at the time of order per our Payment & Billing Policy.
8. Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Shipping, delivery, returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms by reference.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, the Company’s total liability arising out of any order, the Website, or these Terms shall be limited to the amount paid for the Products giving rise to the claim. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Indemnity
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) the Customer’s misuse of any Product, (b) any breach of these Terms, or (c) any violation of applicable law by the Customer.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, product photography, the Precision Research UK name and brand — is the property of Precision Research UK Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual-property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced or used in any other website, publication or commercial material without our prior written consent.
12. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at any time for any reason, including suspected fraud, ineligibility under Section 5, breach of these Terms, or product unavailability. Where an order is cancelled by us after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
13. Privacy & Cookies
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy is compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
